Below you can see my cardboard prototype of my clock being cut in the laser cutter, then finished cutting and then the final prototype glued together.

In Adobe Illustrator I began to design my final clock sketch for the laser cutter. This is what I finished up with. The larger triangular shape on the right is the base with the 8mm hole in the middle for the clock hands, and the the two shapes on the right of that is the second layer which I will cut individually and then glue onto the base. You can see a print screen of the design below:
